વહાલા વિદ્યાર્થી મિત્રો, અંગ્રેજી વિષયના પ્રશ્નપત્રમાં સેક્શન D (Section D) ખૂબ જ મહત્વનો અને સ્કોરિંગ ગણાય છે. આ વિભાગમાં ‘Complete the sentence using the conjunction given in the bracket’ પ્રશ્ન પૂછાય છે, જે સામાન્ય રીતે 3 ગુણનો હોય છે.

બોર્ડમાં પૂરા માર્કસ મેળવવા માટેની ‘એક્સપર્ટ ટિપ્સ’

સંયોજકો (Conjunctions) નો ઉપયોગ કરતી વખતે માત્ર શબ્દ ન મૂકો, પરંતુ વાક્યના ભાવને સમજો.

મહત્વની સૂચનાઓ:

• અર્થઘટન: સૌ પ્રથમ બંને વાક્યોનું ગુજરાતીમાં ભાષાંતર કરી તેમની વચ્ચેનો સંબંધ (કારણ, વિરોધાભાસ કે વિકલ્પ) સમજો.
• પુનરાવર્તન ટાળો: જ્યારે બે વાક્યોને જોડો ત્યારે બીજા વાક્યમાં આવતા સમાન કર્તા કે ક્રિયાપદને દૂર કરવા પડે છે.
• વિરામચિહ્ન: ‘If’, ‘Though’ કે ‘When’ થી વાક્યની શરૂઆત કરો ત્યારે વચ્ચે અલ્પવિરામ (comma) મૂકવાનું ભૂલશો નહીં.
